House of Sampoerna

Hey all people!! Now I will write about recommendation place in my lovely city. In this place you will find a museum about cigarette then if you are lucky you would find some employers who are working so fast. They’re producing a cigarette and you can see them by the wall that is made from the glass and you are above them. Then don’t forget to book a sit for you go around this city, Surabaya especially on the weekend (heritage program from the museum). It’s must! Well, this place has named as House of Sampoerna. What is that? It’s a museum, and a place to make cigarette. It is located around Jalan Kalisosok, the exact address is Jalan Taman Sampoerna No 6. If you search to google, just use “house of sampoerna” as the key words.
At the beginning when you arrived. There’s security that will arrange you to park your vehicle. Then you will pass a building with four big pillars in front of it and the door always close. That’s the door for you to entry this museum. Then don’t worry about the closing door. There’re some people who wait the guest behind it. You can knock it then don’t forget to show your identity card because one of them will ask you.  Afterward you will see heap of tobacco and such barn with the red brick as the wall on your left. There is an old bike and some jars on the table with kinds of tobacco inside it. Third, when you move forward you will see a lot of thing, such a tavern and old motorbike on your right, in front of them there’s a cart and there’s some uniform on your left. There’s such wardrobe full of packaging of cigarette, and a big map (Indonesia’s map) hanging on the wall in the middle of this room. On the left and right there are stairs that bring you on the second floor. A lot of merchandise has already called you to buy them.  On the corner you can see some employers are working faster as I told you before. I remind you that you have to check the time on your watch because you will miss the heritage, go to first floor and go out from this building and come to receptionist to ask the bus has been ready or not. Yeah you will go in some places in Surabaya and it has a schedule from this museum. There are two routes, first the bus bring you to some places near with the museum, such China temple and Bank Museum. Don’t be afraid to ask some questions to the guide, because the guide is very friendly. Around the way the guide will tell you about the history of the street and some building that has been passed. This route is used for weekday. The second route, the bus will bring you to go to city center to visit the government building and hero monument of Surabaya. The second route is used for weekend. This trip is called as Surabaya Heritage Track. Every day it has a schedule, twice a day. If I’m not mistaken for the first schedule is at 1pm and the second schedule is at 3pm. The last object that you can see is some old cars on the side of the museum. You are forbidden to touch it and if you want to take a picture you have to give a space with it, but don’t worry about it because there’s a line around the cars as the border. The last, here also has a restaurant, so after you go around some places you can try to eat in the restaurant. If talking about the price, it’s standard as you eat in the restaurant. Enjoy your trip here. I forget to tell you that all the facilities are free you don’t need to pay except for your food in the restaurant. Have a great trip.
